The Auntie Fay agency was the worse experience we have ever had. A couple months ago, our family flew out from South Africa. We had not seen them in 6 years. My wife's birthday was the following night so we planned on going to a comedy club and out for a nice dinner before hand. We made an appointment for 7:00pm on Saturday. On Saturday, (the night of the family gathering for my wife's birthday celebration) 7:00 pm rolls around and we start getting a little worried. 7:15 rolls around and we figure the sitter must be stuck in traffic. After waiting and waiting, 9:00 hit and we started thinking maybe the sitter was in an accident or she something bad happened. My wife had gotten all pretty and this was going to be the first night we had out together without our kids since the day before our oldest daughter was born. We never received a call saying they apologize and we never received a call of any sort about the sitter not being able to make it. My wife was crushed. Two weeks later we received a call from the Auntie Fay agency and a lady by the name of Loyce started getting very rude with my wife and told her that they never received 14.00 from Saturday night. (The night they never showed up) My wife told her, she would absolutely not pay them because the lady never showed up. From then, Joyce called my wife a bitch on the phone and hung up. I called the agency back and spoke to a nice lady . I explained our situation to her because she said she was a manager. She tells me that she will have her boss call me back about the issue. A few minutes later, I received a call back from a lady named Joyce who was very rude, yelling and saying she will never give us nanny service again because she hates my wife and we owe her $14.00 dollars. and then hung up on me. lol....
Never once were they concerned that the nanny never actually arrived. I am assuming Joyce is the owner. I was so shocked at the way she talked to me and hung up on me that I was actually relieved that the nanny did not show up. As a full time, responsible daddy, I rate the Auntie Fay agency a -10 (that's 10 below zero) I thank god for the warning. If they treated my wife and I like that, how would they treat our babies behind closed doors?
